“I can not stop doing the movie like MunnaBhai“ , Arshad Varsi who has played the most memorable role of circuit with Sanjay Dutt (as Munna) in Munna Bhai series, keeps the same hope.
When asked about MunnaBhai 3, Arshad replied that the whole script of Munna Bhai 3 is ready. This film has not ended up, everything is ready & the shooting will begin by the end of this year.
Munna Bhai series movies were very popular & Arshad Warsi has played very funny role in the previously released movies of Munna Bhai with Sanjay Dutt as a leading star.
Before the 3rd installment, we had Munna Bhai MBBS & Lage Raho Munna Bhai as first & second installment of Munna Bhai Series. Both movies were directed by Raj Kumar Hirani popularly known as Raju Hirani in 2003 & 2006.
Later after the success of Munna Bhai Lage Raho, the producer-director duo of Vidhu Vinod Chopra & Raju Hirani decided to release Munna Bhai Chale Amerika with an story to meet US President. Later they faced some story clash & the idea was dropped.
No America in Munna Bhai 3
Previously in 2009, we had a funny trailer of Munna Bhai Chale Amerika, which created a sensation among bolly lovers but later the news came that the story of the film is clashed with other movies released at the same time.
Munnabhai Chale Amerika had an idea of Munna meeting the US President, but director Hirani later admitted that the angle had been edited from the story after he found that SRK was also had the same meeting scene with the President in his movie My Name Is Khan & later of Akshay kumar’s visit to America in Singh is Kingg.
After all the makers decided the remove the America angle completely from the film. The USA trips has been discarded completely from this film but sometime back a two minute trailer of Munna Bhai with Circuit released with Sunjay Dutt & Arshad Warsi sitting on a bench & learning English for their trip to America.
In the meanwhile we also heard about Amir Khan to play the role of Munna Bhai in MB3 but later it has been confirmed that Sunjay Dutt & Arshad Warsi will be playing the lead role.
According to Arshad & other member of the film, the script is ready & the shooting will be begin with a little delay as Arshad is busy with his upcoming movies Jolly LLB where he is playing the role of a lawyer & the role of Mahender Fauji in Zilla Ghaziabad.
No official announcement for the film has been made yet but it is sure that there will be no American trip or US president meet up script in MunnaBhai 3.
